Compagnia D'Istrumenti is an exciting Baroque ensemble based in the
North of England. The ensemble was founded by Daniel Edgar, Nia Lewis and
Tim Smedley, who met whilst studying at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester
and all developed a strong interest in music of the Baroque Period whilst
studying at music college and university. |
The ensemble's debut performance was at the Royal Northern College of
Music as part of the Young Artist Series* and has since performed in
many distinguished venues around the North of England, including the
National Centre for Early Music as part of the York Early Music Festival
and have worked with highly respected artists including Crispian
Steele-Perkins, Peter Seymour and will give a performance with soprano
Lynn Dawson in July 2005. |
